Chinese (Oriental) Medicine

Chinese (Oriental) Medicine
Duties and Responsibilities:  An oriental medicine practitioner gives treatments to patients to identify a pattern of energetic imbalance within patient. It also redresses that disagreement through a variation of therapies.  Some types of therapies may include acupuncture needling, cupping, acupressure, and other exercises like the tai ji and qi gong, and Chinese herbal preparations.
Salary: The annual median salary for Chinese medicine clinicians is $46,653.
Education: Four years of training for oriental medicine programs are required as well as a master degree. Also you are mandatory to be licensed in order to practice it.

Reflection: I don’t think I want to be a Chinese Oriental Medicine practitioner because I don’t want to have a career in medicine. A lot of people want that path of life but I want career with creativity where I can make art with my hands, feet, or mouth.
