Student Success Statement Anonymous

Student Success Statement
Visualization-Imagination
"What you see is what you get"

Anonymous
Reflection: This quote is telling us that we have to see ourselves greater so that, that is what we are going to get. We need to be cat that sees itself like a lion. If we have that in mind we will achieve greatness.

Student Success Statement Henry David Thoreau

Student Success Statement
"Goodness is the only investment that never fails."
                 Henry David Thoreau
Reflection: This statement is very true because when we look for goodness and try to achieve it, we will find it. It will not fail us.

My favorite world record is the Largest Waffle. This one fascinates me the most because we can see that it takes a lot of preparation and ingredients to make a huge waffle. I also really like waffles so that's why I like this record. I wouldn't want to break a world record because I have no clue what I would do.

Student Success Statement Theodore Hesburgh

Student Success Statement

"My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they're right."

                       Theodore Hesburgh

Reflection: I think that this quote is trying to say is that we have a choice to choose which decision is best for us and that is right. We do not make them if they are cheap, popular, or easy. We should follow this principle so that our decisions will not be wrong.

Salary: The average annual salary for a LPN is $43,394.

Education: You need to have a high school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse in order to become a LPN.

Reflection: I wouldn't want to be a LPN because I wouldn't like inserting needles to people and also because I don’t want a job in the medical field.

"It is our duty to concentrate all of our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound."

Joseph Smith

Reflection: What Mr. Smith was saying was that we should not promote or do things that we know are wrong such as drinking, smoking and doing drugs. When we do these things other people see it and it's like we are promoting or making popular drinking, smoking, and drugs. This is why Mr. Smith is telling that we should make popular what is sound and good like having good manners, no cussing, and being helpful.

Home Health Aid

Home Health Aid
Duties and Responsibilities: They assist in personal tasks such as bathing and dressing for the sick, disabled, and elderly. They also help keep the house clean and safe and arrange leisure activities and transportation in order for the patient to interact with the community.
Salary: The median annual salary for a home health aid is $21,020.
Education: To become an HHA you do not need a standardized educational requirement. Some states you do not require to have a high school diploma meanwhile others require HHAs to tale preparation classes at a community college before they start to work.

Reflection: I think I would like to be one because they help people and I like helping people especially the elderly.
