Student Success Statement Lou Holtz

Student Success Statement

  1. Can people trust me to do what's right?
  2. Am I committed to doing my very best?
  3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
"If you answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail."

Lou Holtz

Reflection: My answers to the first two questions are yes. In the last one, to be honest, I don't treat everyone the way I want to be treated especially my brother and sister. In order to change this no into a yes I'm going to try to be nicer to my brother and sister and try to communicate what I want to tell them without any of us screaming. Hopefully by the end of the year I can accomplish this.

Diagnostic Radiologist

Diagnostic Radiologist
Duties and Responsibilities: They combine the imaging results of a patient’s organs, bones, and tissues with other tests’ conclusion to reach a verdict and counsel the patient about treatments or additional testing. They also oversee radiation in oncology or nuclear medicine.
Salary: The average pay for a radiologist diagnostic imaging job is $61,000.
Education: To become a diagnostic radiologist you are required to complete a 4-year bachelor’s degree and four years of medical school followed by numerous years in residency training in radiology. They also have to pass a licensing exam.

Reflection:  This profession sounds really interesting but I don’t think I would like to be a diagnostic radiologist. I think it’s too many years in school studying this profession and also I don’t think I would like that job.
