Student Success Statement Mark Victor Hansen

Student Success Statement
"Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get it."
Mark Victor Hansen
Reflection: What this quote is saying is that when we set goals there is a major possibility that we might be able to achieve that goal, or "get it". But that means we have to try to achieve that goal and never give up. Just because we write a goal doesn't mean that we are going to get it just like that. No, we have to work hard for it and work hard to reach it.

Reflection: I wouldn't want to be one because it takes a lot of training to be one and a lot of years of experience to be one. I rather have a high pacing job than spending many years on this one career.

Student Success Statement Dr. Seuss

   Student Success Statement
"You have brains in your head,"
You have feet in your shoes,
  You can steer yourself in
  any direction you choose
  You're on your own,
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who'll decide where to go."
Dr. Seuss
Reflection: I think what the quote is trying to say is that we have things we need that can make us capable to succeed in the direction or way of life we decide to go to. Our brain is filled with knowledge and our feet takes us to places we need to go to, to succeed. It's our choice what we decide to do because it's our life and no one else's. We are on our own because no one is going to make us choose a career or live our lives but us.
