An Amazing Softball Story

Do the Right Thing
In a game between Western Oregon and Central Washington, a senior named Sara made her first home run, but when she forgot to touch first base she quickly turned and torned something in her knee. She couldn't walk and touch all the bases to complete her home run and none of her teammates could touch her because if they did the home run wouldn't have counted. Mallory and Liz from the opposing team decided to do the right thing and asked the empire if they could carry Sara. When he said yes, Mallory and Liz carried her and touched all the bases helping Sara make her home run. They showed that people are still kind and that they still do the right thing.

Student Success Statement Pam Knox

Student Success Statement
"It's a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time."
Pam Knox

Reflection: Many people are afraid to do the right thing because they fear that others are going to make fun of them and bully them. There is going to be the obstacles that we face when we want to do what is right but we are scared. We have to have the character and step up to do what's right.
