Allergist/ Immunologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Allergists examine and treat both
disorders and diseases that affect the immune system or of the immune system.
They can also prescribe medicine and oversee the patients’ medication. They
perform lab procedures, observe sample tissues, and use different biological
and chemical analyses to treat diseases and disorders.
Salary: The
salary depends on many factors such as industry, company size, location, years
of experience and level of education.
However the annual median salary researchers have discovered is $225,814.
Education: They need
a degree in medicine from an accredited
school that is licensed to practice. They also may necessitate at least 2-4 years of immunology/allergy
experience.
Reflection: No I don’t think I would like to be one because I don’t think I would like to
be something in the medicine field. Also I would have to first take the
course while doing 2-4 years of immunology/ allergy practice then I would be
able to start the career. I don’t want to do that I actually want a fast
career.
