blood, bone marrow, and vascular and immune system. They also talk to patients
to find out what’s the best course of treatment. They also recommend and order tests
to see the magnitude of the illness.
Salary: The
annual median salary for an oncologist is $272,985.
Education: To
become an oncologist requires getting a degree in medicine from an accredited
school and have a license to practice. Also you need at least 2-4 years of
experience in that field.
Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be in this
career because it’s too many years in school and I really just want to have a
fast career.
