Paris

Paris is the capital and most populated city in France. As of January 2013, Paris has a population of 2,273,305 people. Its home to many famous sites such as the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile or the Arch of Triumph of the Star, the Palace of Versailles, and the Institut de France.  Paris’ climate is very different than ours. It has a Western European oceanic climate due to the North Atlantic Current. Paris is also the eighth most expensive city in the world for luxury housing with London being the most expensive. A lot of people come to this city to see what it has to offer and mostly they come from the U.S. It’s also home to many paintings and sculptures, photography, museums, literature, theater, music, cinema, restaurants, fashion, and holidays and festivals. This is why I would like to visit Paris and the many things it has.
