Final Part 2

A. The things that I like about this class is that it has helped me learn how to type using my home row keys. I also like that we have an opportunity to learn new quotes and reflex on them. What I dislike about this class is that we don't have the opportunity to talk to people around us and see what they think about what we are learning.
B. I honestly have no suggestions on how to improve the class.
C. Yes, I really did my best in this class because it is one of my easiest class and it would be a disappointment if i were to not have a good grade on this class. I always to my work for this class, bring my CTR with me, and bring my life planning goals.
D. Honestly I don't read my Life Planning Goals daily because sometimes I leave it at school or I forget. But I also feel that I don't need it because I have those goals on my mind and its like I'm reading them but only in my mind.
E. I am committed to being a CTR person because being a CTR person has helped me gain the trust of many of teachers and peers. I'm also looked as a hardworking person instead of being lazy which has really helped me.
F. What I am going to do to take responsibility for your body, mind, and spirit is to always do what's right.

Final Part 1

             Showcase Adventure
In our English class we were assigned a group to work with. We were all sad because we couldn't choose our own friends, but I think that helped us. Instead of playing around like how we would have be doing with our friends, we were all working on what to say and what was our part. Our topic was anemia. In my group we had six members: Ashley, Jordi, Kenia, Natalie, Sarahi, and me.  I really didn't know Natalie and Sarahi, but this project showed me how much they work and I got to know them a lot more than I already had. Each member was assigned at least two slides from our PowerPoint for them to say present it. We also had to do an essay on our topic for my English teacher. My part was to write a paragraph on one of the reasons for our argument and also to write the argument, reasons, research graph, survey graph, and closing for our PowerPoint. Other people from my group had different parts as well. We had to turn both our PowerPoint as well as our essay to my English teacher. When they were returned my teacher helped correct the mistakes and make our argument stronger. In our math class, we had to conduct a survey in order to use it as a source in our PowerPoint.  We also had to find a series of graphs about our topic to support our claim. In history class, we had to research all the background information for our disease using when, what, where, why,who and how. Finally on a Tuesday we had to dress professional because we were going to have a dress rehearsal and practice our presentation. It was finally Thursday, the day of the presentations. I had to go early because I'm in leadership and I had to set up. It was finally time for our presentation and one of our teammates was missing. Right when we were going to go in without her, she came running and relief was all we felt. After we were done presenting they gave us compliments that were appreciated and we left. We had done!

                          Student Success Statement
"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. "

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: This quote is true because when you do good you feel good and happy. For example, you take out the trash, clean your room, wash dishes, and don't talk back to your parents, you feel good and proud that you were able to do that. But when you do bad, you will feel bad. For example, if you do drug, smoke, drink alcohol, and talk back to your parents you will feel bad, maybe not at the moment but later on. So we should do whats right and good so we will be able to feel good. We should avoid doing the bad because then we will feel bad.

Student Success Statement Mr. Haymore

Student Success Statement

"Take responsibility for your own body, mind and spirit for your own physical, mental and spiritual well-being."
Mr. Haymore
Reflection: This quote is telling us that we should take care of our body, mind, and spirit so we can have good health in all these three: physical, mental, and spiritual. To do good for your body means not do drugs which are harmful to the body. Also for your mind, you shouldn't hang out with bad influences because they can influence the way you think. And finally for you spirit be kind to everyone even those who do you wrong because then your spirit will be fine and good.

Student Success Statement Richard L. Evans

Student Success Statement
"We need the courage to start and continue what we should do and have the courage to stop what we shouldn't do."
Richard L. Evans
Reflection: This quote is telling us that we should start doing what we should do because these things are very important and even though we need courage for them, we could still do them. When we accomplish these things we are able to get even more courage ti stop the things that we are not supposed to do. So when we stop doing things we shouldn't do, then our lives become easier and better to manage without any problems.

If You Don't Choose the Right, Then You Get Stung

If You Don't Choose the Right, Then You Get Stung.
Patrick was a little boy that lived in the Arabian Peninsula. His parents always told him to put on his shoes so he wouldn't get stung by a snake, scorpion, or thorns. One day he wanted to go on a small walk so he decided to wear flip flops instead of his shoes. When he was walking he felt something like a thorn sting him. When he looked down, he saw a scorpion. He felt pain rush into his leg and he called for help. His parents came rushing, put him a car, and took him to the nearest hospital. Patrick remembered how he thought he was going to die. They arrived in the hospital and the doctor applied anesthetics. This helped the pain to go away and for him to recover.
Reflection: What this experience shows me is that we should listen to our parents. They are not just wasting their breath, they want to us follow their rules so we don't get hurt. They are trying to protect us and listen to them benefits us too. I also learn not to be lazy to do something I know I should do  because if  I am then  the consequences might be bad.

Student Success Statement Mark Twain

Student Success Statement

"Always do right."
Mark Twain
Reflection: This quote is trying to tell us that we have to always do what is right because then we will live a happy life and not filled with problems such as drugs, jail time, or worse. Doing what is right doesn't mean what you think is right because you might think killing is right, it means what God thinks is right and if you don't believe in Him, then what your conscious tells you what is right. With that you can go into the right path and live a life not filled with problems.
