Duties and
Responsibilities: They assist in personal tasks such as bathing and
dressing for the sick, disabled, and elderly. They also help keep the house
clean and safe and arrange leisure activities and transportation in order for
the patient to interact with the community.
Salary: The
median annual salary for a home health aid is $21,020.
Education: To
become an HHA you do not need a standardized educational requirement. Some
states you do not require to have a high school diploma meanwhile others
require HHAs to tale preparation classes at a community college before they
start to work.
Reflection: I
think I would like to be one because they help people and I like helping people
especially the elderly.
