Student Success Statement Dan Dierdorf

Student Success Statement
“If I've got correct goals and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing right, I’m going to succeed.”

Dan Dierdorf

Reflection: In this quote we see that we need to have good goals and when we set our minds in doing these goals then everything falls into place. We need to do things right so that we are able to succeed and have a better life with no regrets.

Student Success Statement Dennis Prager

Student Success Statement
"The most important thing you will ever have is good values."
Dennis Prager
Reflection: It is important to have good values because it helps us succeed in life and it makes us a better person. Also with good values we achieve more stuff than what we lose and we help create a better person for ourselves. Having good values is more important than love, happiness and money because without good values we wouldn't even have love, money, and happiness.

They also measure a customer's face and eyes to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses or contact lenses and that the finished lenses are ground to specifications and fit properly. They also assist customers in selecting frames based on their prescription and life style and instruct them to take care of the glasses or contact lens.

Reflection: I would like to be an optician because the career doesn’t take that much time and it pays well.

Student Success Statement Wilford Woodruff

Student Success Statement

"Nothing is ever gained in doing what's wrong."
Wilford Woodruff
Reflection: This statement is very true because when you do what's wrong you lose something, you never gain anything. This shows us that we should do what is right to gain something instead of nothing.

LAUSD: Families

LAUSD: Families
LAUSD has a website where parents are able to see the many services the district provides for them such as:
 Community Advisory Committee
District English Learner Advisory Committee
Parent Advisory Committee
Common Core State Standards Parent Resources
ESC Parent Engagement
Parent and Community Resources
Parent Bill of Rights
School Volunteer Program
These services benefit me because it helps that my parents are engaging in my school and district.

I think that the service that my family and I would use is probably school volunteer program.

  • List a few of these services.

Special Education Services

Alternative Education and Work Centers
Mental Health Consultation and Education
Graduate Intern Program/Child Psychiatry Fellows
  • How will these services benefit you?

These services benefit you because these programs take care of your needs and help do well in school as well as your life.
  • Which of these services will you use?

I think that one of the services I would use is guidance and counselling because after a classmate of ours passed away I had to go because I didn’t feel ready to go to class and maybe the same thing can happen in the future we never know.
